I hope you are enjoying today's Mercury sextile Mars. With this transiting aspect we can reach out and communicate in a way that enables progress in our lives.
The outer planet of empathic consciousness, Gonggong is trine Mars and opposite Mercury. So, the more we can transcend our own emotional space and feel our empathic contact with others, the better this communication is going to go.
The Sabian symbol for Gonggong's discovery degree is: "A busy maketplace". When we tune in to the energy flows in our lives, we can participate in the dance of energy to our best advantage. We can find the right place in the market for our product or service, and sell that to our customers in a way that maximises the return.
So we are likely involved in some participatory social process in these days. No matter how much we try to be an island unto ourselves, social interplay is the lifeblood of survival. Consider some of your recent social interactions. You have the power to change your life by changing how you respond in any one of those interactions.
Gonggong encourages us to participate in the marketplace of life, to joyfully work with the give and take of energy within our community which is essential for our survival. When we do this, Gonggong brings good luck, prosperity, and abundance. Through our sensitivity to the energy flows, we are able to position ourselves or our product to maximize our potential, and, by participating in this social interplay, we can become wealthy and successful.
One of the exercises from New Stars for a New Era that might help with today's communications, is: Do a personal stocktake. Ask yourself: “What am I bringing to the marketplace of life?” It might be something you do, or it could be you, yourself. Consider how you interface this with the social environment and reflect on the adjustments that might be needed to enhance this interplay.
Venus trine Jupiter
Venus will trine Jupiter over the next few days, so we're in for a party. At the same time, Venus will be sesquiquadrate Gonggong, so the ideas and contacts that we initiate today will likely get developed through some lucky breaks in our participatory activity during the party over these next days.
The more we can appreciate that we live in a symbiotic relationship with the ‘others’ in our lives, and understand that we can pool our energy to achieve collective aims, the better this will work. As we develop spiritually, we learn to calibrate our emotional pressure to meet the needs in each moment, and we develop the ability to channel our emotions and mold our psychic space to improve our productivity.
At this level, our empathic consciousness gives us access to a great wisdom, which can enable our enlightenment. We understand that the more we respect and harmonise with the energy flows in our lives, the better the future looks. We develop the ability to catalyse transformation and change in our own lives, and the lives of those around us. Ongoing renewal is facilitated by learning to nurture the cyclical nature of life.
So if we can get out of our own way and see the forest for the trees in these next days, we're at the point where we can take action to participate in the marketplace of life and catalyse change and ongoing renewal in our lives.
