I hope you are enjoying today's Mars trine Neptune. These are days when we can take inspired action if we have a clear vision of what we want to do. And if we don't have this vision, we can also take inspired action by being open to the psychic oneness of everything and simply put one foot in front of the other in our activities.
Neptune is biquintile his upper octave Haumea, at 1 degree Scorpio. We see the rarefied psychic power of this aspect in the wider world at the moment in the unbearable religious aggression in Israel and Gaza. Where Neptune makes us feel justified and righteous in our actions, Haumea ratchets that up to an even stronger psychic force because the two planets are in orbital resonance. And Haumea is an activist who won't stand for the suppression of people, so from her point of view any outcome is better than the status quo.
The saving grave and existential challenge of these days, is that Haumea is sextile Ixion at 3 degrees Capricorn. It is the saving grace for those of us who are able to follow our own bliss through the current moral morass. And it is the existential challenge for those who feel justified in their immoral or criminal behaviour.

Gretta Thurnburg
But let's look at another case study to understand how this transit of Haumea sextile Ixion might affect us. Teenage Swedish climate-change activist, Gretta Thurnburg, has the aspect in her natal chart, with Ixion on her MC, sextile her Haumea in the seventh house. We see her authenticity in her Ixion conjunct the MC, and her ability bring about a regeneration through her relationships, in the sextile to Haumea in the seventh house.
She was 15 and had just started ninth grade when she decided not to attend school until the Swedish general election two weeks later to protest climate change. The date was the 9th of September 2018, and transiting Ixion was closely sextile transiting Haumea that day, just like it is today.
This transit was encouraging everyone to be an individual and to follow their passion in search of a rebirth. We each respond to the pressure of the times differently. Ixion was then at at 29 degress of Sagitarius, closely opposite Gretta's Saturn and sextile her ASC, encouraging her to express her worries about the structure of society as her part in the rebirth process.
Soon, inspired by her protest, other students started engaging in similar protests in their own communities. Together, they organised a School Climate Strike movement, and a global strike six months later, on 15 March 2019, gathered more than one million strikers. On that day transiting Ixion was still sextile transiting Haumea in the sky, within two degrees.
So the Haumea sextile Ixion transit represents a phase in which we can embrace our authenticity in a way that stimulates a rejuvenation in our lives. In these days we can be true to ourselves and follow our passion in search of a rebirth. And we do that by releasing the wild-child within, by following our bliss and finding an authenticity in our lives.
